Storage Tiers

The Storage Tiers on product pages are intended to help our customers quickly determine if a product is likely to be available or appropriate for long-term use. The tiers will be adjusted regularly according to the sales and stocking situation.

Please contact us if a product you are interested does not have its tier specified or if you would like to better understand why a product has a particular tier.

The following Storage Tiers are available:

  • Tier0: Products with the highest priority and cost efficiency. These are the most popular products that are purchased most frequently and in the largest quantities. We make sure they are in stock and constantly replenished.
  • Tier1: Level 1: Usually our current bestsellers, which we make sure are in stock and constantly reordered. (Discounted prices do not normally apply to this level).
  • Tier2: Used for merchandise similar to Tier1 with recent sales quantities below the criteria for Tier1. Inventory and consistent and stable subsequent replenishment are assured whenever possible. Distribution methods include, but are not limited to, order quantity limits or temporary price increases. (Promotional pricing does not usually apply to this product level.)
  • Tier3: is the interim status of a product. Certain products will be assigned to other tiers based on recent performance. Distribution methods include (but are not limited to) order quantity limits or temporary price increases. (Inventory and consistent subsequent replenishment may not be guaranteed, please inquire)
  • New: New products of different brands. New products are kept in the "Neu" catalog for 3 months, after which they are assigned to other levels.
  • Retiring: Used for products that are on sale/clearance/discontinued." Retiring" products are usually discounted and do not support orders that exceed the quantity in stock. Once stock is cleared, these products will move to the "Stopped" Tier.
  • Maintain: Products that have been sold in small quantities recently. We do not actively keep stock of these products. However, you can purchase them directly, or if you need a larger quantity, please contact us for pricing and lead times.
